violin
A question for the ages! If I only had the magic answer. It is important that prospective students understand the commitment they have made when they decide to study an instrument. As with school and sports, there is work and effort which needs to be done in order to progress. In instrumental music study we call this practicing. One very effective method for practice is scheduling. Homework generally gets done the same time of day; setting aside a specific time for practice and making it around the same time every day can be a very effective tool to ensure your student will get the most of the violin experience.
